Hi

I’m Søren Mathiasen, a software developer based in Roskilde, Denmark. This is where I write things down so I don’t forget them. “The ramblings of a software developer” is the honest tagline.

I’ve been writing software for a living for about twenty years now: the first stretch in C#/.NET at Schantz, then Go and platform work at Tradeshift, a detour through Kapeta, and these days my day job is at Neuralogics, where most of my hours go into Aperture, a pricing intelligence platform in Go and React/TypeScript. On the side I do a bit of independent consulting.

Still on the life journey to become a professional software craftsman, for what it’s worth :)

When I’m not building something, I tinker with Kubernetes (I wrote k8s-rds, a provisioner for AWS RDS databases) and I spend an unreasonable amount of time figuring out how AI coding agents actually fit into the day-to-day. Expect practical posts about Go, infrastructure, tooling, and working with agents: real configs, real commands, real opinions.

Talks

I’m available to give talks on AI (coding agents, LLMs in practice) and other technologies, for businesses and events. I bring a practitioner’s perspective: real workflows, real configs, real opinions, no buzzword bingo. If that sounds like something for your company, ping me on LinkedIn.
